Two federal rules govern the label sewn into your side seam. What they require, what they leave out, and how to read one before the garment goes in the machine.
Fitted knits, camisoles and matching sets
Seventy-eight cuts, a hundred and fifty-seven colourways, and the same XS-to-XL run behind fifty-five of them. Pick the neckline first, then the shade: whichever you take, the size you wear in the black one is the size you wear in the coffee.
Prices come from our own catalogue. Checkout happens with our retail partner.

Seven shelves, one block: a size behaves the same way in every corner of the Darong range.
The same studio frames you get on the product pages, one piece after another, with the size run and the price on screen.
Shop what is in itNothing in it is styled beyond what you see: one garment, one colourway, one light.
Every piece in the film runs the same size ladder in every shade it comes in.

All 78 cutsA soft tape, held level and snug against the body rather than over a jumper. Two minutes, and the size question stops being a guess.
The full chartTape flat across the back, level under the arms. A fitted rib reads closer to the body than the tape suggests, because the knit does part of the work.
Bend sideways and the crease is your waist. This is the number that decides a two-piece: the top follows the bust, the trouser follows this.
Wide-leg trousers hang from here, not from the waistband. If the hip lands between two sizes, take the larger and pull the drawstring.
Our wide-leg sets are cut for an average inseam. Taller than that and they read cropped, shorter and they break on the foot, which is a twenty-minute hem.
Same body, two answers. The smaller size reads as a second skin. The larger falls closer to the trouser you already own.
Every colourway of a cut runs the same sizes, so choosing the colour never costs you the fit.
Take those three numbers to any page in the Darong collection and the size question turns into a yes or a no.
Six ways into the same wardrobe. Each one is a real slice of the catalogue, counted on the build.
Twenty sets where the top and the trouser come off one roll, so the greys still agree in March.

The claim behind every page on this site, and the part of it we cannot make true for you.
How we workA block is the shape before any style line is drawn on it: where the shoulder sits, how deep the armhole goes, how far it is from shoulder to waist. Draft every style from scratch and a medium means one thing in a tank and something else in a knit. Draft them all from one and the letter stops moving.
Fifty-five of our cuts run the whole ladder in every colourway they come in. That is the part worth checking on any label you buy from: a shade that stops at medium is a shade that was cut as an afterthought.
The sets are cut from one roll rather than two, so the top and the trouser fade at the same rate. It is the reason a grey set still reads as one outfit after a winter of washing.
A block settles the letter, not the drape. A rib clings where a woven skims, and the same size in a lounge trouser and in a bodycon skirt will sit on you differently. That part is the fabric talking, and the fabric is named on every product page.
Four figures, all of them counted on the build rather than typed in. Hold them against the rail in your own wardrobe.

All four come straight out of the Darong basics on the build, so a number that changes changes on every page at once.

The journal
Two federal rules govern the label sewn into your side seam. What they require, what they leave out, and how to read one before the garment goes in the machine.
Stretch and recovery are not the same property, and almost every complaint about a knit top is a complaint about the second one. The cuff test, and what it tells you.
A letter on a label is not a measurement. Take bust, waist and hip once, and every page on this site turns into a yes or a no.
We started in 2017 with one rib tank and a complaint: the medium fitted, the large bagged, and the colour you wanted was gone by Thursday. Nine years on, the block is the same across the range, and a size behaves the same way in every cut here.
Nine years on, the Darong studio still drafts every cut on that one block.
